Requirements

What we're looking for

Very high commercial orientation aimed at the achievement of Objectives.
Knowledge and experience in the customs sector
Ability to design commercial solutions
High knowledge of European and Spanish customs legislation
Schedule flexibility and availability to travel according to operational needs.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
High orientation to detail and great analytical capacity.
Proficiency in Spanish (C1 or native).
High English; knowledge of additional languages will be positively valued.

At DHL Global Forwarding, we are looking for a BDM to drive business development in the Customs area. The position will be located in our offices in Coslada, Madrid.

What you'll do

Your main functions and responsibilities would be the following:

Business acquisition through products in line with the company's global, regional, and local strategy
Identify market demand, personally generate and develop opportunities for the company.
Manage commercial opportunities through different sales channels: local sales, due sales or decisions made outside the local market, tenders, or market niches.
Sales Support in commercial proposals and in the design of the most convenient solution for each opportunity, accompanying as a subject matter expert
Coordination with the operations team for the achievement and success of new business
