At Agrícola Carrascas, we are looking for a person to lead the creation, implementation, and development of our quality system, guaranteeing regulatory compliance and food safety, driving continuous improvement, and contributing to the excellence of our processes.
This is a transversal position, with responsibility over the winery, the enological laboratory, traceability, and food safety, as well as the control of irrigation and fertilization plans for our vineyard, almond, and pistachio crops.
We are looking for a technical, organized, and proactive profile, with the capacity to structure processes, coordinate different areas, and convert quality requirements into management tools and business improvement.
What you'll do
1. Development and management of the quality system
Design, implement, maintain, and improve the quality management system of Agrícola Carrascas.
Define procedures, protocols, work instructions, and records, ensuring their effective application.
Structure and develop the Quality area, promoting a culture of compliance, prevention, and continuous improvement.
2. Enological quality and laboratory
Supervise the quality control of grapes, must, and wines during the different phases of the production process.
Coordinate the enological laboratory: sampling, analysis, results, equipment, calibrations, and incidents.
Analyze deviations and results, driving the necessary corrective measures to guarantee product quality.
3. Food safety and traceability
Implement, maintain, and update the HACCP system and food safety prerequisite plans.
Guarantee integral traceability, from the plot and grape reception to processing, bottling, shipping, and the finished product.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements, quality labels, and applicable certifications.
4. Document management, regulations, and audits
Coordinate the declarations, books, records, and mandatory documentation of the wine activity, ensuring their correct completion and timely submission.
Prepare and manage audits and inspections, as well as non-conformities and their corresponding corrective actions.
Maintain technical dialogue with control bodies, certification entities, and Public Administrations.
5. Control of agricultural plans
Supervise the irrigation and fertilization plans for the vineyard, almond, and pistachio crops.
Control records, consumption, applications, analysis, and possible deviations.
Analyze results and convey relevant information to Management for decision-making and the improvement of agricultural management.
