Renewable Energy Pre-operation Manager

• Degree in Industrial, Electrical, Energy Engineering or similar.

At INVER we are looking for a professional with experience in O&M of large-scale renewable energy generation projects. Their mission will be to act as the person responsible for projects in the phase prior to operation within the Asset Management Department.

• Coordinate Asset Management needs with the different departments and areas of the company (Development, Engineering, Construction, Procurement, H&S, Legal, Financial, etc.) throughout the project development, execution and commissioning cycle.
• Analyze, prior to operation, the regulatory framework, operational, environmental, health and safety, labor and other requirements from an asset management perspective in those countries where Inver will manage projects.
• Collaborate with the Procurement Department in defining the technical conditions for tenders of contracts, spare parts, warranties and supplies required for asset management.
• Negotiate and review the different contracts and offers required in the management of an asset.
• Analyze and estimate operating costs (OPEX) of projects under development.
• Collaborate in the Technical, Financial and Insurance Due Diligence of projects, in everything related to Asset Management.
• Carry out preparation prior to the asset operation phase: team structuring, work procedures, etc.
• Manage the transition of the asset from construction to commissioning and operation, ensuring that all necessary documentation, contracts and procedures are available before entry into operation.
• Prepare and review Asset Management service offers for third-party clients.
• Be ultimately responsible for ensuring that each project, before entering operation, meets all requirements for efficient, profitable asset management in compliance with applicable regulations.

• Degree in Industrial, Electrical, Energy Engineering or similar.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in renewable energy project development or asset management.
• Knowledge of O&M contracts, OPEX models and due diligence for renewable energy projects.
• Knowledge of environmental and Health and Safety requirements applicable to energy projects.
• Experience or ability to analyze new markets/countries (regulatory and country risk).
• Knowledge of SCADAS is a plus.
• High level of English
