The role

We are looking for an International Business Development Analyst for the Grupo Ruiz Strategy team! 🌍💼

Grupo Ruiz is facing a growth phase with very ambitious goals, in which expansion into new international markets and business diversification are key levers for success. Internationalization—both organic (tenders and public procurement) and inorganic (M&A and strategic alliances)—plays a central role in our roadmap.

In this context, we are looking to bring an International Business Development Analyst into the Strategy team within the Business Expansion Directorate. We are looking for a profile with a global mindset, a digital native, analytical, and with a strong motivation for on-the-ground business development.

The role combines international market research, identification of commercial opportunities, and technical support in preparing bids and international consortia, offering real and direct exposure to executive decision-making in a leading business group in sustainable mobility.

🚀Your mission will be to drive the company's international expansion through strategic analysis of new markets, proactive identification of business opportunities on the ground, and structuring of technical bids and consortia, directly contributing to the group's growth and positioning in the sustainable mobility sector.

What you'll do

📚 What will your responsibilities be?

  • Analyze international transport and mobility markets, evaluating key variables: local regulatory frameworks, public concession schemes (B2G), competition, and demand.

  • Identify and monitor international public tenders and multilateral projects (including those funded by multilateral development banks), keeping the strategic expansion pipeline up to date.

  • Actively collaborate in the initial phase of opportunity analysis, identifying the essential requirements for entering a country and supporting the search and screening of local partners (joint ventures).

  • Support the analysis of target companies, basic financial modeling (preliminary business cases), and preparation of materials for investment or partnership processes.

  • Prepare presentations, preliminary Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), and clear, visual executive reports for senior management and investment committees.

  • Act as the liaison with external advisors, consulting firms, development banks, and internationalization support organizations (ICEX, COFIDES, CEOE, Chambers of Commerce, and Spanish Economic and Commercial Offices abroad).
