Job description

H10 Hotels is looking to hire a Head Housekeeper for the VIP Area and a 2nd Head Housekeeper to work at our 5-star H10 Rubicón Palace hotel, in Lanzarote.

The duties will be those typical of a head housekeeper, applied to the Privilege Area:

To professionally carry out the management, control and monitoring of the set of tasks that make up the housekeeping service, public areas, internal areas, laundry and linen room, overseeing and supervising the laundry, ironing and sewing services; likewise, responsible for organizing the staff under their charge.
To organize, direct and coordinate the staff under their charge.
Build and train your team
To direct and plan the set of activities in their area.
To direct, supervise and control purchases and stock of linen, cleaning products and supplies.
To be in charge of the control and inventory of furniture, fixtures and fittings and materials in the rooms, as well as the organization of the housekeeping work for rooms, public areas, internal areas and laundry.
To prepare statistics and reports for hotel management and other departments, as well as for the head of the department.
Inspect rooms, public areas, and service areas to ensure they are in good condition.
Assign tasks to room attendants.
To supervise the deep cleaning schedule.
Manage and keep track of lost and found items.
To keep staff motivated and give verbal and written recognition.
To comply with the hotel and department quality and service standards, as well as with the internal work regulations established in the organization.
Fill in for the General Head Housekeeper in their usual duties.
