The role

An important multinational company is looking for a Business Controller for its offices located in the Corredor del Henares area. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years as a Controller/ Business Controller in a multinational environment. Experience in Logistics or sectors with high transactional volume is important. Previous experience working with SAP is a plus. A high level of English is essential. Work format: Hybrid.

What you'll do

Reporting to the Controlling Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for the following functions:

Responsible for analyzing, controlling, and optimizing the economic and operational performance of the assigned area. The mission will be to ensure the consistency of financial information, monitor key business indicators, anticipate deviations, and propose continuous improvement actions to drive profitability and efficiency.
Collect and consolidate key information for the economic and operational analysis of the area.
Define process controls and monitor indicators (KPIs).
Detect and analyze deviations, inefficiencies, and incorrect operations in the activity.
Implement control tools and participate in their development and improvement.
Prepare and analyze weekly reports, monthly closings, forecasts, and budgets.
Optimize information flows and support business decision-making.
Participate in action plans and follow up on continuous improvement.
Monitor investments ensuring their return.
Manage 1 person within the department.

Who are we looking for (M/F/D)?

Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or similar.
Experience of at least 3-5 years as a Controller/Business Controller in a multinational company.
Experience in Logistics or in dynamic sectors with high transactional volume.
Experience working with ERPs (SAP will be a plus).
Advanced proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.
A high level of English is essential (minimum B2 level).
High proactivity and initiative, and strong interpersonal skills for working across departments.
Strong ability to ensure data consistency and reliability.
Availability to work in the Corredor del Henares area.
