HR and Labor Relations Manager

• Education: Degree in Labor Relations, Law, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years in similar positions of responsibility. A background in related sectors (industrial, agribusiness, food, logistics) or in companies with multiple sites is highly valued.
• Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of current labor legislation and proven experience managing shift-based workforces across different work centers.
• Key Competencies: We are looking for a professional with a strong operational mindset. They must stand out for their planning skills, leadership qualities, and a highly conciliatory and negotiating profile in multi-site environments.

Job Mission

The selected candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive management of Human Resources and Labor Relations. They will work closely with Management, coordinating with the industrial manager and plant managers, to implement a homogeneous organizational and management model across all work centers. Their objective will be to ensure proper planning and sizing of staffing levels, anticipate operational needs, and ensure strict compliance with labor regulations, providing a proactive, hands-on approach.

Main Responsibilities

• Organization and Operational Planning: Prepare, review, and keep staffing maps updated for each plant. Efficiently plan shifts, rest periods, and vacations, establishing formal procedures that guarantee facility coverage at all times and prevent improvisation.
• Labor Relations: Act as the company's main internal labor expert. Ensure the correct application of collective bargaining agreements, manage the disciplinary process, handle labor inspections, and optimize coordination with the external advisory firm.
• Time and Attendance Control & Reporting: Lead the implementation of a centralized system for managing working hours, overtime, and absenteeism. Present a monthly executive dashboard (KPIs) to Management, including forecasts of needs 30-60 days in advance.
• Selection and Organizational Development: Centralize and standardize the recruitment process to avoid purely reactive hiring. Clearly define the corporate organizational chart and job descriptions for each position.
• Talent, Evaluation, and Compensation: Design cross-training matrices to ensure coverage for critical positions. Implement performance evaluation systems and establish a standardized salary structure by category and across all centers.
• Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Coordination: Comprehensive coordination of occupational risk prevention across all group centers. Oversee the implementation and monitoring of safety policies, ensuring a safe working environment for the entire workforce in terms of training, safety, etc. Specific training, such as a Master's degree in an Occupational Risk Prevention specialty, as well as proven prior experience in managing this area within the industrial sector, will be highly valued for the excellent performance of these duties.
