We are looking to bring on board a Procurement Technician - Services and Works to join the Services and Works Contracting Department team at Redeia Corporación.

What you'll do

  1. Define and coordinate purchasing strategies to meet needs, ensuring quality, profitability, sustainability, and supply.
  2. Understand and analyze market trends and price developments.
  3. Coordinate and manage the contracting process: planning, tendering, awarding, and ordering, while coordinating the involved agents.
  4. Resolve contractual disputes and ensure compliance with deadlines, deliveries, and payments.
  5. Monitor the contracts managed per project, verifying delivery and compliance with deadlines and payments.
  6. Participate in the execution of the strategic plan and transversal projects.
  7. Develop relationships with sector purchasing units and participate in forums.
  8. Promote and implement continuous improvement proposals.

Requirements

  • University degree, preferably in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or similar.
  • Languages: English, C1 level or higher; French is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially advanced Excel), ERPs (SAP), and knowledge of
    tendering tools is valued.
  • Power BI for the use and creation of dashboards.
  • A postgraduate degree or MBA will be valued.
  • At least 3 years of experience in responsibilities related to the procurement function, carrying out
    tasks such as:
    • Optimization and development of contracting strategies.
    • Preparation of tender specifications and/or complex contracts, management of the tendering process that
      requires high involvement with the market.
    • Analysis of bids and scenarios, negotiation and resolution of incidents with suppliers.
  • Experience in purchasing construction services and/or professional services will be valued, as well as
    European legislation on procurement in excluded sectors and international projects.
