What we're looking for

Academic Training:
- Intermediate vocational training degree in computer systems or related studies.
Technical Knowledge:
- Basic operating systems.
- Security systems.
- Familiarity with PC hardware, laptops, and peripherals.
- Local area networks (LAN)
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems.

The role

As a Junior Microcomputing Field Technician, you will be part of the User Field Support unit.

In this area, we enhance labor productivity with user support services, support centers, and other solutions for a fluid and efficient working environment. This support can act proactively or reactively to solve problems, thereby ensuring business continuity.

Our IT field services team is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and supervision of products on-site for our clients.

What you'll do

You will provide first-level technical support and assistance to users regarding computer equipment and software, ensuring the correct operation and maintenance of computer systems and networks.
You will respond to support requests via telephone, email, or in person.
You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance of computer equipment.
You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and updating operating systems and applications, new equipment, and peripheral devices (printers, scanners, etc.).
You will manage and maintain local area networks (LAN) and Internet connections.
You will configure user accounts and manage access permissions.
You will implement and maintain IT security systems.
You will provide basic training to users on the use of software and equipment.
You will document and follow up on incidents until their resolution.
You will maintain an updated inventory record of equipment and software.
You will assist in the management of purchases and replacements of computer equipment and components.
