The role

At SOCOTEC Spain, we are looking to hire a Business Development Manager - Solar to drive business development in the solar photovoltaic energy sector.

We are looking for a profile with solid experience in business development within the renewable energy sector, the ability to identify new commercial opportunities, and experience in client acquisition and project closing. The selected person will play a key role in the growth of the Solar area, contributing to business expansion and the development of strategic relationships with clients in the sector.

What you'll do

Define and implement the commercial strategy for the Solar area.
Identify and develop new business opportunities in solar photovoltaic projects.
Manage and build loyalty within the client portfolio, including IPPs, investment funds, developers, EPCs, and utilities.
Prepare, present, and negotiate technical-economic proposals.
Monitor the commercial pipeline and contribute to the achievement of turnover objectives.
Coordinate with technical teams to ensure the correct preparation and development of offers.
Represent SOCOTEC at industry events and strategic meetings.
Analyze the market and detect trends and growth opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
