About the role

Sales Consultant

Great salespeople don't wait for opportunities—they create them.

We are looking for results-oriented profiles, with a strong commercial mindset and the drive to build something of their own while helping small businesses grow.

Small businesses and shops in Spain are the backbone of our economy and need a payment and financial management platform designed for their reality. That's exactly what SumUp offers, and we are expanding our sales team to reach businesses across the country.

We are looking for a Sales Consultant to develop business in your assigned territory.

You will be in direct contact with owners of small and medium-sized businesses, helping them discover how SumUp's payment and financial management solutions can improve their daily operations.

This is a role for people who enjoy face-to-face selling, generating their own opportunities, and building strong commercial relationships.

From day one, you will have the autonomy to develop your market, build your pipeline, and close deals.

What you'll do

  • Identify and acquire new clients, especially small and medium-sized businesses.

  • Generate commercial opportunities through prospecting, networking, and cold calling.

  • Conduct in-person meetings and product demonstrations.

  • Explain the value of SumUp's payment and financial management solutions.

  • Build and manage your own commercial pipeline.

  • Handle objections and close deals effectively.

  • Build long-term trust relationships with the merchants in your portfolio.

  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets.

What you'll get

  • Monthly bonus of €500 subject to Partner Status.

  • 50% of revenue generated from payments, hardware, and software.

  • 20% recurring income on your portfolio for two years.

  • Potential to generate long-term recurring income.

  • Hands-on training in product, sales, and business development.

  • Ongoing support from a Territory Manager.

  • Freedom to manage your territory and build your own business.

You'll fit in if...

  • You have experience in B2B sales, field sales, or business development.

  • You've worked generating your own business opportunities.

  • You have experience in prospecting, lead generation, and pipeline building.

  • You are comfortable working towards targets.

  • You have a good knowledge of the local business landscape and the challenges faced by small businesses.

  • You are comfortable selling face-to-face and developing commercial relationships.

  • You are self-driven, resilient, and results-oriented.
