At Aegon, we are looking for a Professional Agent Manager for our Agency Channel, which is currently in a period of strong expansion.
About the position
- Recruiting and selecting exclusive professional agents with more than 2 years of experience in the sector.
- Managing and mentoring their own team of professional agents, providing internal training and support.
- Participating in channel improvement projects.
- Aligning and implementing the company's strategy within the sales force.
- Fulfilling activity reporting tasks.
- Achievement of network and business objectives.
- Maximization of sales (value-based selling).
- Growing and consolidating their entire team of professionals.
- Complying with the commercial system and procedures established by the company.
About your skills
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or similar.
- A successful track record of at least three years in recruiting exclusive insurance agents, managing commercial networks in the insurance sector, as well as their retention.
- Proven experience in selling Health and Life insurance, in individual and SME/corporate business, acquiring clients, and closing sales.
- Accustomed to innovating in methods for recruiting new agents.
- User-level proficiency in Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams). Knowledge of other tools (CRM, reporting, etc.) is highly valued.
- Organizational skills, adaptability to change, leadership, people development, and results orientation.
- A demanding professional who is also flexible and innovative, who gets involved in new Channel projects, and who adapts easily to new ways of working
