Production Director

We are looking for an Operations Director with solid experience in large-scale central kitchens, foodservice, and complex food operations, to lead a strategic transformation within a leading company in the Canary Islands.

The position will play a key role in the reactivation and optimization of the collective catering area, as well as in the professionalization and scalability of the entire production operation.

This is a highly cross-functional position, with a 360º view of production, operations, maintenance, quality, efficiency, and business.

Lead the overall operation of central kitchens and large-scale food production.
Reactivate and develop the collective catering area as a strategic growth line.
Optimize production, operational, and logistics processes under criteria of efficiency, quality, and profitability.
Boost and professionalize vacuum cooking and sous-vide systems, as well as IV and V range products, which are currently underutilized.
Supervise and coordinate the areas of Kitchen Production, Commercial, and Maintenance.
Implement control indicators, reporting, and operational monitoring.
Ensure food safety standards, HACCP, and quality control.
Improve the company's productivity, organization, and operational structure.
Lead multidisciplinary teams in highly demanding operational environments.
Participate in the expansion and evolution of the business operating model.

University degree in Industrial Engineering, Organizational Engineering, Food Technology, Agri-Food Engineering, Business Administration, or similar fields.
Profiles with training in Culinary Management, Hospitality, or Food Service will also be valued, provided they bring a solid track record in foodservice operations and large-scale food production.

Solid experience leading central kitchens, industrial food production, or high-volume foodservice operations.
Background in collective catering, industrial catering, complex hospitality, airport catering, or food production.
In-depth knowledge of vacuum cooking, industrial machinery, and food production processes.
Highly operational and analytical profile, oriented toward continuous improvement.
Ability to combine strategic vision with hands-on execution.
Experience managing large teams and complex operations.
Strong organizational skills, process control, and overall business vision.
Previous experience in the Canary Islands or knowledge of the local market is highly valued.
