IT Operations Technician (Monitoring and Home Automation)

We are looking for a person with technical knowledge in Computer Networks and microcomputing. Network protocols, configuration, network monitoring, LAN, WAN, as well as essential components IP, DNS, etc. Knowledge of Fortinet technology.

- Person with initiative and autonomy.

- University degree or Higher Vocational Training

- Advanced Level in IoT Operational Technology, as well as tank measurement systems and their associated protocols.

- Experience with Computer Networks, server administration, Web/DB, and perimeter security technology.

Desirable experience and/or knowledge in technological solutions in unattended service stations or in other sectors where IoT could have been applied.

We are looking for an IT Operations Technician whose mission will be to ensure maximum stability, visibility and functionality of the technology solutions at service stations (Monitoring and Home Automation) acting as a specialized technical reference point for everything that happens.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• IT Operations Monitoring

- Composition and maintenance of the station data dashboard, aiming for centralized and grouped monitoring (not just data/alerts from an IoT perspective)

- Configuration of proactive alerts, as well as definition, configuration, and review of automatic alerts.

- Technical data analytics regarding monitoring.

• Diagnosis and Functional Support

- Diagnose communication problems, ensuring seamless connection between the point of sale and the different systems

- Identify the root cause of integration failures, especially with the IP04 standard, but taking the rest into account.

- Analyze the history of anomalies in the test inventory.

• Technical Governance and Quality Support

- Version and configuration management. Maintain records and control of versions

- Asset maintenance and inventory, collaborating with the infrastructure team to keep the inventory of all station assets updated

- Updated technical documentation

- Verification of functional and technical tests on service stations, both in new openings and during preventive maintenance

- Ensure multi-vendor device interoperability standards

• Standardization and Model Training

- Ensure that the knowledge and transfer of information acquired regarding third-party solutions is not "conditioned" by third parties, but rather resides and is governed by the company.
