The role
A Senior Account Executive – Large Corporate with 5–10 years of experience who combines technical judgment, client orientation, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams in complex and multinational insurance programs.
The Large Corporate unit in Madrid provides specialized and dedicated service to large Spanish companies with an international presence and to multinationals whose risk management is centralized in Spain. We work with sophisticated organizations, with exposure to senior management, complex risks, and rapidly evolving needs.
Our model is based on a 360º view of risk: identify and quantify, design the program, transfer the risks, manage the program, and support the client during claims. The Account Executive acts as the primary point of contact and connects the client with the capabilities of Consulting, Broking, Specialties, Claims, Health, and Reinsurance.
What you'll do
- Act as the regular point of contact for the client, building a relationship of trust and maintaining close, rigorous, and proactive communication.
- Understand the client's business model, strategy, risk profile, and priorities to contribute to defining the account plan and service strategy.
- Coordinate the internal service team, including Broking, Claims, Specialties, Consulting, Reinsurance, Health, and Aon's international network, ensuring clarity in responsibilities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Participate in the design, renewal, and optimization of national and international insurance programs, identifying alternatives for coverage, structure, limits, retentions, and markets.
- Prepare and review presentations, market reports, comparative offers, executive recommendations, service plans, and documentation for client meetings.
- Analyze emerging needs and detect opportunities to add value through new solutions, Data & Analytics capabilities, risk consulting, or alternative transfer structures.
- Coordinate the renewal and placement process together with the broking teams: information gathering, strategy definition, proposal follow-up, terms review, and support in client recommendations.
- Supervise the ordinary management of policies: issuances, endorsements, certificates, regularizations, billing, collections, and payments, resolving incidents with the corresponding areas.
- Support the follow-up of relevant claims, coordinating the Claims team and facilitating an orderly response to the client, especially in critical situations.
- Prepare and participate in meetings with Risk, Finance, and Procurement departments and, when appropriate, senior management, adapting the content and technical level to each interlocutor.
- Contribute to the retention and profitable growth of the portfolio, identifying unmet needs, supporting proposals to clients and prospects, and following up on the commercial pipeline.
- Maintain complete and updated information in corporate tools and comply with internal processes for quality, compliance, documentation, and account governance.
- Share knowledge within the team and support the development of junior profiles, progressively acting as a reference and mentor according to experience.
How you'll work
- Availability to travel occasionally and to work collaboratively in a hybrid and multinational environment.
