Senior Associate for the Warranty & Indemnity Team in Iberia

The Aon Mergers, Acquisitions & Transaction Solutions (AMATS) team continues to grow, and we are looking to add a Senior Associate to our Warranty & Indemnity team in Iberia. The selected person will participate in the entire M&A insurance placement process, working closely with clients, legal advisors, investment banks, insurers, and other members of the AMATS team.

AMATS is Aon's platform specialized in M&A and transactional solutions. We advise funds, corporates, and other market players in the identification, analysis, and transfer of risks associated with their operations. Within the W&I team, you will work at the intersection of law, insurance, and M&A, with direct exposure to sophisticated transactions, contributing to our clients' ability to execute their operations with greater security, certainty, and efficiency.

• Collaborate in the structuring, placement, and negotiation of Warranty & Indemnity solutions for M&A transactions, both buy-side and sell-side, working alongside senior brokers throughout the entire process.
• Analyze transactional documentation, due diligence reports, disclosure materials, and the SPA regulation itself to identify the main relevant legal and commercial risks that may impact the underwriting process and the negotiation of the W&I policy.
• Coordinate the placement process and the parties involved (e.g., private equity funds, corporates, legal advisors, insurers, and internal Aon teams), ensuring an efficient flow of information, clear risk analysis, and agile execution in demanding transactional environments.
• Prepare high-quality written documentation, including comparative quotation reports, presentations and updates for clients, and internal briefing materials, with clarity, precision, and a commercial focus.
• Develop trusting relationships with internal and external interlocutors, acting as a reliable coordination point between clients, advisors, insurers, and Aon teams.
• Drive the use of AI tools and digital solutions to simplify internal processes, reinforce the consistency of transaction analysis, and improve the efficiency of materials prepared for clients.
• Participate in business development initiatives, market analysis, and the growth of AMATS in Iberia.
