Director of Operations

From Catenon, we are looking for a Director of Operations to develop the hotel division of a group specialized in luxury development in the Balearic Islands and Madrid.

The role will be responsible for leading, coordinating, and optimizing the daily operations of all business units of the hotel and gastronomic group.
Its mission is to ensure that each hotel, restaurant, and gastronomic center operates under the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and profitability, while guaranteeing an exceptional experience.
The role will act as a strategic link between general management and operational units.

Main Responsibilities:

Operational Management:
• Oversee the operation of hotels, restaurants, and gastronomic production centers.
• Lead the execution of openings, renovations, and launches of new concepts.
• Oversee the relationship with suppliers and partners.

Team Leadership:
• Manage hotel directors, restaurant directors, and middle management teams.
• Ensure adequate training, motivation, and development of operational talent.

Financial and KPI Management:
• Control budgets and monitor key indicators: occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, customer satisfaction, etc.

Customer Experience:
• Ensure a consistent, high-level experience.
• Oversee quality and reputation programs.

Commercial Management (Operational):
• Coordinate with the sales and revenue management area to maximize revenue.
• Oversee the correct execution of pricing, upselling, and cross-selling strategies in operations.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in product mix, menus, and complementary services.

Candidate profile:

• 7 years of experience in operational management roles in Hotels and Gastronomic Restaurants.
• Higher education degree (Bachelor's degree in Hotel Administration, Tourism, Business Administration).
• Master's degree in Hotel Management, Business Management, or MBA, desirable.
• Spanish and English required.
• Passion for gastronomy, luxury, and the culture of service.
• Experience in openings, standardization, and process improvement.
• Leadership and team management experience.
• Results orientation and operational excellence.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Strong customer orientation and service quality focus.
