To drive the growth and expansion of our client's presence in the Northern Zone (Basque Country, Cantabria, Asturias, Galicia, and Castile and León), establishing strategic relationships with procurement managers in key public and private administrations. You will be the brand ambassador, ensuring the identification and development of new projects, and internally coordinating all commercial activities to ensure proposals meet client needs.

Functions and responsibilities

Lead the commercial relationship with assigned public and private potential clients, identifying key contacts, presenting services, conducting active prospecting, and providing thorough follow-up on the bidding process.
Detect and monitor public and private tenders, gathering information on business opportunities, service status, competitor activity, and the expectations of potential clients for future awards.
Internally coordinate the preparation, review, and negotiation of proposals and contracts, ensuring the optimal definition of the offer to be presented to public and private clients.

What we're looking for

Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, with at least 5 years in similar positions, managing relationships with public administration and private clients.
A solid network of contacts within the main city councils of the Northern Zone (Basque Country, Cantabria, Asturias, Galicia, and Castile and León).
In-depth knowledge of the services sector, preferably in commercial services.
Mastery of Public Procurement procedures and management of contracting platforms.
Availability to travel several times a week, especially during the initial phase of the position.
Location: Ideally Madrid, with the possibility of being based in the Basque Country, Cantabria, Asturias, Galicia, or Castile and León.
