Requirements
What we're looking for
Technical background: Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Development, or equivalent experience that supports your technical knowledge.
Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience developing front-end applications in production environments, with solid knowledge of JavaScript and React.
Web development fundamentals: Mastery of HTML5, CSS3, modern JavaScript (ES6+), and experience building maintainable, reusable, and responsive web interfaces.
React ecosystem: Experience developing reusable components, managing state, and working with hooks, as well as integrating REST APIs and managing loading states, errors, and responses.
Quality and performance: Knowledge of development best practices, testing, debugging, web accessibility, performance optimization, and version control with Git.
Product Mindset: We are not looking for someone who only wants to "close tickets." We need you to care about the why and the what for of things, to understand user needs, and to propose improvements that contribute to business results.
Artificial Intelligence friend: You are curious and have experience using AI tools (such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or others) in your day-to-day to improve your productivity and the quality of your deliveries.
Autonomy and quality: You have your own criteria, the ability to manage ambiguity, simplify complex problems, and make technical decisions by balancing speed, maintainability, and quality.
The role
Are you passionate about travel🛫, culture🗽, leisure🎡, and do you want to be part of the growth of the #1 company in activities, excursions, and tours in Spanish worldwide? We are a dynamic, multicultural, and innovative team that sees every day as a challenge and a new opportunity to grow together with the company.
If you want to conquer the world with us, we're waiting for you🚀!
At Civitatis, we are not looking for someone who simply "grinds code" and closes tickets. We want you to transform business challenges and user needs into real, measurable solutions with a massive impact.
What you'll do
End-to-End Responsibility: Your job does not end when you perform the merge. It ends when the solution is in production, working perfectly, and providing real value to the product in a sustainable way.
360º Vision (Product + Tech): For us, technology and product go hand in hand. You will be at the center of the action, crossing business, user experience, and technical execution, sharing criteria and context with the design team.
Real ownership: You will have control over specific product domains. We expect you to understand the context, question what is established, and propose innovative approaches with maximum quality.
Grow with us: Here, you will not measure your progress solely by code complexity. Your success will be based on your autonomy, your ability to simplify problems, your real impact, and your ability to raise the level of the entire team.
What will your day-to-day look like?
Analysis and definition: You will understand functional, business, and user needs before starting to develop. You will participate in the definition of user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical solutions alongside Product and Design.
Front-end development and End-to-End architecture (AI-First): You will work on the development and evolution of our interfaces primarily using JavaScript and React. In an environment oriented toward Artificial Intelligence, you will use AI agents and tools to accelerate development, while guiding, reviewing, and validating their proposals, ensuring maintainable, accessible, secure, and high-quality code.
User experience and performance: You will implement intuitive, responsive, and efficient interfaces, taking care of usability, accessibility, load times, and application performance.
Impact and metrics: You will participate in deployment, monitoring, and result analysis to verify that the developed functionalities improve the user experience and contribute to business objectives.
Cross-functional work: You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend, Data, and QA to define solutions, review implementations, and guarantee a consistent experience across the entire platform.
AI-driven innovation: You will incorporate Artificial Intelligence and automation tools into your daily workflow to improve productivity, streamline development, and raise code quality.
