The role
At Palladium Hotel Group we are looking for a Group Desk Manager EMEA, a profile with strategic vision, commercial orientation, and solid leadership skills, capable of driving the comprehensive management of the groups and MICE segment in a diverse and constantly evolving region.

Your mission will be to lead the Group Desk EMEA corporate department, ensuring efficient, homogeneous, and results-oriented management throughout the entire group quotation and follow-up process. You will act as a strategic reference for the region, coordinating teams and key areas to ensure a competitive commercial response, aligned with business objectives and market needs.
The position will be responsible for defining and driving the quotation strategy for the groups segment, promoting process standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. Additionally, they will lead initiatives oriented toward commercial optimization, cross-departmental coordination, and the strengthening of Palladium Hotel Group's competitive positioning in the MICE and groups segment, contributing directly to the achievement of revenue objectives and the sustainable growth of the business.
What you'll do
- Lead and develop the corporate quotation and commercial support team (Group Desk Senior Advisors and interns).
- Define objectives, priorities, and individual and team development plans.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and foster collaboration, optimizing the distribution of resources and workloads, reinforcing destinations during high-demand periods.
- Supervise and support the Group Desk Senior Advisors team in closing groups, commercial tactics, and incident resolution.
- Act as the daily liaison between the proactive sales of the hotels and the Group Desk team, supporting the development of the offer calendar and need dates per hotel.
- Design and implement the Group Desk strategy to maximize revenue and profitability. Participate in the preparation and monitoring of annual MICE budgets alongside management. Analyze demand, trends, and commercial results of the MICE and groups segment.
- Supervise strategic negotiations and high-value opportunities, as well as relevant groups and events.
- Process optimization and standardization
- Lead the standardization of Group Desk quotation processes and procedures.
- Establish and implement, together with management, MICE quotation and sales standards for the hotels in the region.
- Implement best practices in commercial and operational management, and promote continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
- Develop corporate reporting models for production, sales, and MICE demand analysis. Supervise KPIs, conversion, production, and budget compliance per hotel.
- Prepare executive analyses for decision-making and report on the commercial actions carried out.
- Act as a liaison between Sales, Revenue, Operations, and Management.
- Align corporate objectives with the local action plans of each hotel.
- Work in collaboration with other channels that manage groups (leisure groups, social events, or other typologies).
- Lead the implementation and optimization of commercial tools.
- Define functional requirements and improvements for the Sales & Catering system used at the chain level.
- Promote technological adoption through training and follow-up with teams.
- Lead, together with management, the incorporation of new hotels into the portfolio: preparation of materials and training for teams in MICE quotation protocols, strategy, and sales tactics.
- Business development and positioning. Supervise the positioning of hotels on specialized MICE platforms (Cvent, Naboo, Kaktus, among others).
- Drive promotions and benchmarking to improve positioning against the competition. Support openings and the incorporation of new hotels into the portfolio.
Profile requirements
- University degree in Tourism, ADE, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or similar.
