About the role

Direct Customer Acquisition Strategy Manager - Madrid:

Develop your career in our excellent team at the Madrid head office

Join a leading company in the insurance sector

We are looking for professionals who share our passion and interest in developing a common project in the long term.

The Direct Customer Acquisition Strategy Manager will be responsible for establishing a value-oriented acquisition strategy, managing the direct channel by source, and optimizing the acquisition-conversion-value mix to achieve profitable growth and coherence between volume, conversion, and profitability.

What you'll do

What will you have to do?

Some of the more specific functions of the Direct Customer Acquisition Strategy Manager include:

Managing the premium differential in acquisition relative to the market. Designing and implementing upselling and coverage strategies at the source. Measuring the impact of upselling on conversion, average premium, and LTV. Coordinating with pricing and product teams to increase value without affecting conversion.

Improving pricing accuracy in acquisition (T1/T2), reducing technical and commercial KO rates, monitoring competitive positioning, and identifying pricing opportunities to optimize conversion and premium.

Integrating artificial intelligence into subscription flows, adapting Q&A processes to personalize proposals and reduce friction, and coordinating with technical teams to improve flows, ensuring risk control and management.

Optimizing the entire acquisition funnel, analyzing the process from lead to close, identifying friction points, and establishing corrective actions. Additionally, coordinating with the Contact Center to maximize the closure of valuable leads.

Managing and analyzing acquisition KPIs (conversion, CAC, average premium, market spread, LTV/CAC ratio) to ensure traceability between pricing, Q&A flexibility, upselling actions, and business results, applying a continuous test & learn process.

Integrating CRM and lead management processes in direct acquisition to maximize the value of each lead. The CRM must enable prioritization, scoring, personalized commercial treatments, and full traceability from lead to policy and LTV. Ensuring coherence between acquisition, pricing, upselling, and commercial closure, using the CRM as the central axis of the funnel.

What we're looking for

Regarding experience for the position, at least 6 years in B2C digital acquisition, commercial strategy based on data and pricing, and digital and telephone sales funnels will be required.

Furthermore, everything related to optimizing acquisition focused on value, not just volume, is important. Experience in complex decision-making sectors such as insurance, banking, utilities, and marketplaces is also highly valued. On the other hand, experience working closely with pricing, product, and commercial channels in a coordinated manner will be necessary.

Regarding technical knowledge, a solid understanding of acquisition pricing (T1/T2, market spreads), conversion, CAC, LTV, LTV/CAC ratio, and/or the impact of upselling on value and profitability will be required. Advanced functional knowledge of CRM and lead management (scoring, prioritization, traceability) as well as analytics and BI tools is also required. The ability to integrate AI solutions into subscription and acquisition processes from a functional, non-technical perspective is essential.

Nice to have

Experience in highly competitive environments and comparators will be valued, but will not be strictly required. This includes experience in Q&A processes and reducing friction in subscription. Analysis and optimization of the end-to-end funnel (lead → policy → value), as well as test & learn models applied to the business, are also valued. Previous experience in the P&C insurance sector (Auto, Home, and other Non-Life lines) is valued. Experience in strategic or business consulting is also valued. Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies is required.

An English level of B2 or higher will be required, and Italian will be taken into consideration.

Having a Disability Certificate of 33% or higher will be valued.

Education & certifications

We are looking for professionals with a university degree in Engineering (Industrial, Computer Science, Telecommunications), Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar fields. Postgraduate education in Strategy, Data, Pricing, Digital Marketing, or Analytics will be especially valued.
