At Polaris x Ucademy, we are not looking for someone to teach classes. We are looking for someone who decides how teaching is done.
The Academic Director leads the faculty of their vertical, defines the pedagogy, and is responsible for one single thing: ensuring our students secure their positions.
You will be responsible for the teachers in your vertical: you will provide them with clear guidelines, resolve their doubts, and decide who joins the team.
You will participate in the selection of new instructors and their onboarding.
You decide how teaching is done in your vertical, within the Polaris Method.
Nothing is published without your approval: you are the one who validates the pedagogical and audiovisual quality of the content.
You will monitor the academic progress of students against their exam dates.
You will stay on top of exam calls and adapt the preparation when they change.
You will work on the value proposition of each training program alongside the team.
You will drive periodic mock exams and the continuous improvement of live classes.
You will collaborate with Polaris x Ucademy through provision of services, on a continuous basis and compatible with your professional activity. If you have a position, we do not ask you to leave your job.

These are very different exams, with calls for applications that move constantly. That is why we are looking for a profile with their own judgment and organizational capacity.
1. Profile review. In the application, you will answer some brief questions and send us a 1-minute introductory video. Record it with your phone: tell us who you are, your experience preparing candidates, and which exams you are familiar with.
2. Interview with the Education team. We will talk about your experience, how you understand civil service preparation, and how you lead a teaching team.
3. Practical case. We will present a real situation from our vertical and you will tell us how you would approach it. We want to see your judgment, not a textbook answer.
4. Final interview to finalize the project, your scope, and the conditions.
