The role

At Secrets Lanzarote Resort & Spa, you will be part of an exclusive adults-only resort, where personalized service and attention to detail make the difference. You will work in a privileged natural environment, with international standards and teams focused on excellence.

What you'll do

Give a warm welcome to all guests, greeting them with a smile.
Inform guests accurately and politely about waiting times when necessary, and direct them to a waiting area.
Escort guests to their table and assist them with seating.
Set up buffet signage, and maintain the cleanliness of food and drink menus on a daily basis. Help the rest of the team when necessary.
Communicate any specific guest requests, allergies, or special occasions to the supervisor.
Communicate the number of guests and table waiting times to the supervisor.
General knowledge of all food and beverage menu items.
Learn to take responsibility for direct guest requests, carrying out the request until its completion. Do not refuse any guest request without offering alternatives.
Order drinks during lunch and dinner service.
Maintain accurate knowledge of the hotel's restaurants, services, events, promotions, and amenities.
Anticipate and attend to guests' expressed service needs in a quick and efficient manner.
Maintain the cleanliness of work areas, tables, chairs, crockery, glassware, cutlery, etc., throughout the entire shift.
